Distance Learning Art: Texture Seascapes

Lesson overview: 

Students will look at and discuss landscapes and seascapes and learn how artists create space. Students will use the Elements of Art; line, color, shape, texture, and space to create a tri-fold texture seascape. Students will learn to create texture using a crayon rubbing technique.  Students will use a tri-fold design to create space in their seascape that shows a foreground, middleground, and background.  This lesson can easily be adapted using the materials students have available at home.
